Classical Guitar Master David Tanenbaum has achieved what every musician strives for; he has become the music. David & I met in our mid-teens when we both studied with the same instructor. I consider David to be one of the very few geniuses I have encountered. He began studying the classical guitar at age 14, & at age 16 was touring the world performing a Vivaldi concerto with the Joffrey Ballet-just David's guitar and the dancers. He has never let up in his pursuit of musical excellence - he has achieved it, and is one of the greatest classical guitarists in the world.

Dan is a great guitarist who I have known since high school.
One day he was playing bass in a country rock band with me, & the next day he seemed to have simply awoken as a jazz guitarist. They don't call him "Dangerous Dan" for nothing! |
